These were the words of an Olympian after coming second in the 100m sprint.
Games at the Kottukkara School are played with much favour and passion. There is emphasis on regular exercise and physical fitness. All games are supervised by masters. We have strong school teams in almost all the games and many of our students had been selected to play in the district and state levels.
Team spirit and the desire to give the best performance possible are our watchwords.
Each and every teachers in here are interested in sports and also gives great importence to sports. We believes that education is not just reading books, it's a way of learning to live. The schools has been well known in case of games and sports. We have school teams for cricket, football, badminton, kabadi, handball, vollyball, ball badminton, chess etc.
The institutuin sees and agrees sports as a branch of education
