Kottukkara Panakkad Pookoya Thangal memmorial higher secondary school is one of the best school in the kerala state, and we have already prove ourselves to be the best in study, arts, sports, literature, Exhibitions and in all other co-curricular activities. The exhibitions, sports and arts had already been the monopoly of our school. The School is well known in the district as well as state level due to it's interminable successive and massive participation is curricular and non-curricular activities.

The Team Behind this Blog

This blog is run by a group of tech enthusiasts of the class s1c under our loving guide and elder brother - Jaleel Sir. Our aim with this blog is to make use of this blog as a social media to communicate and share the news, programs and ideas about our school and to encourage the new blooming buds of our school to to follow our path and to welcome them to the new world of technology and internet. As the computer science students, we believes that it is our duty and we are here to fullfill it. We hopes your support and we have done all the works of this blog ourselves including the web-design. We hope this could be a revolutionary step in the history of our historic school.

In PPMHSS Kottukkara, we have a group of experienced academicians, who are passionate about teaching, and a group of education enthusiasts who wish to provide the best training facilities that creates an atmosphere conducive for learning. We have a strong conviction that, we succeed only when our students succeed.Dedicated teachers are the hallmark of this institution. Endeared with qualities like perseverance, perpetual hard working mentality, they are well versed with the latest teaching and learning process and they are given ample opportunities to participate in seminars, workshops, Refresher Course etc. 

Far from the mindless commoditization of education, our curriculums brings a breath of fresh air that emphasizes teaching is not just about knowledge dissemination; rather, igniting critical and creative thinking in our students.
The school comprises a team of efficient staff who are well qualified and experienced in the departments of Computer, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Social Science, Mathematics, English, Malayalam, Hindi, French etc. We have to our credit well trained teachers to handle Art, Physical Education, Instrumental Music, Craft, Karate, and Dance classes. To instill values in children, as well as to develop their personality, the school provides counseling facilities under the able guidance of experienced counselors.

 The school offers her students an opportunity to the development of an integrated personality. Sound character formation coupled with learning is our aim. Moral, social, intellectual and practical life values are stressed. Co-curricular activities, games and sports, health and physical education, arts and crafts and socially useful productive work also forms a part of the school program. At the same time, we know we can't make all these work, without effective discipline in our school.


 We works very much on the discipline of the school and it is something well preserved and appreciated by many famous men and we are always proud of it. It's a honor to say that we are keeping more than 4500 students in good life and practicing them discipline and such other core values for life.


 More than 3000 students travel through line bus from kottukkara to kondotty and other places but still, we never ever had any complains about our students from the Bus Owners or the people. It's one of the greatest example for the discipline we practice. It's not just that, Our students has been widely known for their good manners and discipline and it is the main and most talked qualities of our school

Games at the Kottukkara School are played with much favour and passion. There is emphasis on regular exercise and physical fitness. All games are supervised by masters. We have strong school teams in almost all the games and many of our students had been selected to play in the district and state levels.
 
Team spirit and the desire to give the best performance possible are our watchwords.
 
Each and every teachers in here are interested in sports and also gives great importence to sports. We believes that education is not just reading books, it's a way of learning to live. The schools has been well known in case of games and sports. We have school teams for cricket, football, badminton, kabadi, handball, vollyball, ball badminton, chess etc.
